Hi, I'm about to get myself a new pc but I don't know if I need more stuff than what I selected (cooling, cables, connecting strips, etc...)

O and ofcourse a 1TB HDD for storage =]

just for my information, why go with AMD and not Intel and an X-58 chip set?

If I was building a dream gaming machine, I'd go with multiple SSD drives and RAID0 them together. Really take advantage of the technology.

From everyone I've heard that has striped SSD drives, it's pretty incredible performance.

From the looks of it you havent got a clue what you are doing as you build this sytem without any form of balance. Its like you selected the most expensive parts and just prayed it would work...
Consult the various websites and reviews first, then try to find a good company closeby where you can buy all the parts and have them pre-installed so they can advice you as well.

@ above, that SSD is useless; you'll bottleneck your cpu or motherboard or even the OS coding before you can reach maximum speeds. Best is to just go for the 40gb kingston v-sieres in raid1 and 128gb kingston v-series for everything else. Not like anybody has over 100gb of storage on their computer at any one time in these kinds of builds as it is dedicated to overclocking with occasional gaming.

Coast seems like its gonna be fairly loud with all of those Fans running at the same time. To be honest, it might be easier to go with liquid/dry ice/hydrogen cooling if you have the cash to do it, not to mention if you building something that high end, might as well OC it and make it a real beast of a machine.

Also spend a bit more and get another Hard Drive Coast as 64g isn't all that much. Plus an anti-static wrist band isn't needed as you can just touch any metal part of your case to discharge and be perfectly fine. =)

you've bought a triple channel memory kit, when you only need dual channel. basically, buy sets of two, instead of three.

also, your graphic card is WAY overkill for the kind of monitor you're going with. 5970 is only worthwhile if you intend to use 30" 2560x1600 displays. a 5850 will be more than sufficient for 1920x1080.

1. RAM - as Moriz points out, you spec'd a 3 DIMM RAM package, but the cpu wants dual channel. You should get either 2 or 4 RAM sticks.
2. CPU - Considering all the expensive geegaws you list, it might be better to invest in an i7-860 cpu (and mobo) and drop some of the bling.
3. HDD - SSDs are nice, but don't forget to get a drive to actually store things on.
4. PS - 1000watts is way overkill. Even 2 5970s would only require about 850watts - 1 only requires 625 watts. A good 750watt or so would suffice.
5. Cooling - none of those coolers are needed unless you plan to seriously overclock. If you do plan to OC, liquid cooling would be much better. The one exception would be that if you switch to the Intel cpu, an aftermarket fan would be better than the stock.
Also, be careful when adding too many fans, in some situations all they end up doing is circulating hot air around inside the case.

If you want you could give a budget that you would like to stick too and then list what exactly you want to do with your computer (and how long you want to go before major upgrading) and then the techies/geeks on these forums could put builds or parts of a build together (on paper that is) for you.

We all love to spend other peeps money that way. hehe

*would like to play with it for at least 5years( but technology evolves so fast)

Reason I selected that amd processor is cause some friends told me its one of the better around for games atm, but if theres better ones in my budget feel free to say so

2700 euro is an insane, I repeat INSANE amount of money to spend on a computer. Not that it's bad to have that much money invested in a computer, it's very cool, but very unecessary too. If GW and GW2 are the most demanding things you want to do then 700 Euros would just about cover yours needs. Don't spend 2700, if you do then at least 50% of that is a total waste of cash.

That's alot of money, about 3.9k USD.
I was about to build myself a new PC too but I xfered to university and it cost me 10k for tuition alone per quarter so... no more dream PC for at least 2 more years.

Power Supply, Computer Case, CPU cooler is kinda important.

Power Supply I haven't looked yet but you'll need something with 2x8pins and 2x6pins if you want x2 video cards above.
A really big case I guess
Look for LGA 1366 socket for CPU cooler.

Everything else is minor. If you're short on cash just ditch either the video card or 1 set of corsair RAM. I think this would be top PC for at least 2 years, then you should overclock it.
Your PC cost alot doesn't mean it is the best. I know alot of people just throw out top dollars products and expect the best performance but things don't work like that. I spent alot of time researching and reading customer reviews (not only on newegg) so I'm pretty sure the products above would work flawlessly... for at least 3 years. I have a friend that spend about $600-$800 per years on upgrading computer and it runs like shit. In my opinion, you are wise to spend that much money.. maybe a little too much.. on PC but at least you know for sure your PC won't be crappy for the coming games in the next 3 years. dang, thats alot of money to spend on a computer just for gw. I think you could back down a bit on the PSU,Video Card,Case(That case is too overpriced).

Seeing as i do this for a living. This is a foolish build.

Firstly this is overkill, from real world experience this compared to a 800 euro system will look and perform no different.

Secondly the value of high end products drop fast than anything else.

Ideal GW system:

Case - Antec 300
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3
CPU - Phenom II 955
Graphics Card - HD 5770 or HD 5850
Power Supply - Corsair VX550
Hard Drive - Samsung F3 500GB/1TB
Memory - 4GB DDR2
With optical drive & accessories..

Thats well below 800 euro's.

Now thats a good performer for money.
